What is New in BDR

Three new and amazing projects have been establish in BDR for help afghan women. Thanks to BDR, UNIFEM and Donors we can work to get our objectives:
HELP AFGHAN WOMEN
Naddle craft project has been establish and it's begining to work successfuly.
Tailoring and literacy Training Program for women
Women Development Center is helping to women have enough skills to work and support their families.

BDR Activities Update in the past week,
1. Meeting Regarding construction and operation of 20 clinics in different
part of Afghanistan took place in the ministry of Helath in Kabul.
The participants of the meeting was BDR Health Section Head and Saudi
Releif health Section Head and the Deputy minister of Health.
The plan was 50 clinics with 6 moth operation, but we insisted that to
reduce the number of clinics in increase the time of operation until one
year so this will give us the chance to look for finding another donor to
give us fund for the operation after one year, so the number of clinics my
be reduced to 20.
The ministry agreed with the construction and operation of the clinic will
took plance through BDR,
The Director of Saudi Relief office is in pakistan and He will come in this
week and we will have meeting with him and hopfully we will reach to reach
to agreement and If god help us than we will sign the contract ,The total
fund for this project 20,000,000 USD .
2. The first income Generation project for women through women develpment
section started to day 200 women will be provided with the materials and
they will start work on Nadle craft, The action plan for this project was
agreed BDR Board meeting on Thursday. BDR will provide mony from his own
fund.
and the Date for the first exabition is agreed to be on 19 September and
60 person from different realated organizatoin will be invited for tea to
BDR office and than introduce the Nadle craft to participants.
Work on 3 more proposal for Skill training projects was on-going during the
week and after compleation these proposal will be submitted to GTZ, Japan
Embassay and IOM.
Training for government senior official has took place on sunday and
wednesday in Kabul province and Logar province where the 23 Sinior
officiall of the provincial governent participated in the workshope.
